What happens if you enter it? You come outside or you go to layer 2?

And if it goes outside, how were you able to mine next to the cave entrance?

If you enter you stand in the black and prolly can't move a lot...if you're able to leave you'll end where you entered i guess

it's not a working cave entrance (cave layer) thus mineable

and why should it lead to another level (layer)?!?

What do you mean "it's not a working cave entrance"? if you can exit through it, it's a woking one right? So the area around it shouldn't be minable?
