I DC around bigger bases

Postby NOOBY93 » Tue Jul 02, 2013 10:02 pm

When I am inside my base or around someone else's, I randomly go back to the login screen (not character screen) and when I log in, it says I already am for ~1 minute and 30 seconds.
This has bugged me for about half of a year now, especially in:
-W6 Brodgar
-W7 Brodgar
-W6 Elvenia
-W7 Elvenia
-W6 my village
-W6 villages I was raiding
This is very, VERY annoying, I once attempted to kill a bear around my base (in shallow water), he hit me twice, I went to swim to my boat, and DC'd mid-swim only to log back in to empty char screen.
The other time I was raiding a village, next thing I know 3 farmers ganking me, bringing my def a lot down, while if it didn't happen they would all be dead at that point.
It only happens to me in my village, too. I can't even eat carrots without DCing.
It's especially annoying when I'm talking to many people, DC, they keep sending me PMs thinking I'm still online then they have to repeat it all when I log back in.
Anyways, my questions are:
1. Why does this happen?
2. Why is it specific to bases? Doesn't happen around stuff like thickets or something.
3. How do I fix it?

It's really annoying for me too, trying to say something to a continuously DC'ing villager.
Any help is appreciated.

Also, have you tried using another PC?
Hope you have a great day

I've tried, it still does it, but a bit less. However, the access I have to that laptop is like once every 5 days, since my bro and sis and grinders on their way as well, I have to stay on my own craptop.

I've never had this issue myself. It might be because of your processing power or even your download speed. You might want to check into this to see if yourcomputer is unable to handle the load.

Doubt it's the processing power, because thickets don't DC me, but the DL speed is probably the problem

Either make exception for ports in your Router FW or Windows Firewall...

Tried, disabled both firewalls, still DCed. Sometimes I don't DC at all, like today.
