It seems to be resolved now but for reasons unknown the server was acting unusually following the brownout and data corruption.

What do you mean when you say "resestting my comp", really? If you mean it makes your computer reboot, then you've probably got a hardware problem.

Update drivers first of all.

So you mean it actually does reboot?

Well, off the top of my head, your cooling could be bad. If your computer is a desktop/tower computer, take it apart and check so that all the fans run properly and aren't full of dust (if it's a laptop, you should check the same thing, but that's obviously a lot harder). Alternatively, your power supply could be broken or under-dimensioned; and in both of those cases, you'd have to replace it. Or something else could just be plainly broken. It's a bit hard to tell from here. :)

yeah, it's like if I hit restart. it's a tower, I had the fan replaced 9 months ago or so. I don't think it's the power cord as it only happens when I am in game.

There are several fans in a computer, though. Normally, there is both a CPU fan and a power supply fan, and it is not uncommon for the graphics card or motherboard to have their own fan as well, nor for there to be a separate fan mounted to the chassis.

As for the power cord, you will see that I wrote "power supply", not "power cord". When playing games, both the CPU and the graphics card will go out of power conservation mode, and will thus put a much heavier load on the power supply, which may lead to it being unable to supply the computer if it's broken or under-dimensioned.
