well, looking at that, it says it removes -25% defence from your opponent....

maybe your opponent didn't have 25% defence? alot of the combat moves are totally messed up. for example you cannot throw sand if the person doesn't have 2 IP, even if you want to remove the 1 IP they do have, and you have no clue how many LP they have anyways.... this may be the same problem.
