The 260 series does seem to have problems of some kind. Jorb also started crashing with them. You can get previous versions of nVidia drivers here. Try the latest non-260 drivers and see if that helps.

IT WORKS.
My previous driver version was 258.96.
The latest version is 260.99.
What I tried: 260.99, 260.89, 258.96.
260.89 has the very same problem.
258.96 works just fine, as it did before.

What I'm going to try is this:
Backup v.258.96 NVOGLNT.DLL file
Upgrade to 260.99
Replace v.260.99 NVOGLNT.DLL file w/ v.258.99 NVOGLNT.DLL file.

But before I try it I'd better play the game till I'm satisfied:p

It didn't work.
NVidia graphic driver seems to check the dll files and prints out error message that the version is incorrect.

So if you are stuck with graphic driver dll files, your best bet is to rollback to older version of graphic driver.
In the case of NVidia(which seems to the only case), V.258.96 works very fine, V.260.9x doesn's work.

Hope this error to be patched soon.
Good luck and good game to ya all.

1 - "NVIDIA control panel" is opened
2 - 3D setting >Management 3D setting
3 - "Optimization that thread" OFF

Please try by all means.I have recovered by this.

I've found some way to fix this. First, save the client to your computer. Then log out, exit your browser, and try to access the game through the downloaded client. If this doesn't work, start the browser, log in, download a new client and just "open" it. If it still doesn't work, log out, log in, try again, log out, exit browser, try the downloaded client.

After variations of this I succeed. Don't know why. Might be firefox that's messing, might be something else. Either way, I always log on correctly once I get an "invalid authentication key", or something message on the client. I can then start my browser failfree again.

I had same problem with GF 460, Windows 7 x64 and 260.89.

1 - NVIDIA control panel
2 - 3D setting - Management 3D setting
3 - Thread optimization - 'OFF'

Thanks, mika! It helps me too!
