I can confirm this bug on two different snapshots of the client -- one I just made right now with Git, and one from whenever I started playing. I do not get outlined in yellow when I step behind a tree, nor do my enemies. This made it very hard to click on a boat that I'd hidden in the bushes, but I finally managed to find an click an isolated stray showing pixel.

Using newest Ati Catalyst 10.12 on my Radeon HD 3850, WinXP SP3, Java 1.6.0_21, and I don't see anymore the red X on the minimap

Ha ha, that's pretty much how my picture looked, big red circles/squared, and arrows, over the part chat, and where the party stuff should be.

seems to be some issue recently, yellow outlines don't show up, party portraits don't show up, and party x don't either

The X on your minimap showing where you are is gone too!

Even if your not in a party, it's not there.

Objects behind trees, rocks and buildings are not properly outlining for me. I checked in both the official client and gilbertus' client (to make sure the objects were, in fact, still there) but I cannot force a solution. My avatar is also not outlining behind rocks, trees, ect. I searched the forums but found no solution, so it must be a bug.

Any temporary solution for this problem would also be appreciated.

its the same bug that's causing party portraits and your X on the minimap to disappear. or at least occuring concurrently with those
