If J-Lo can make curiosities work while we sleep, in a house, why can't they make tanning tubs work in a house/cave/cellar.

Everything else seems to work fine outside or inside that is on a timer. It's just the tanning tubs.

With this new world and the decrease in the number of players, this isn't working as well. You pretty much have to babysit the tubs in some areas.
Good news: I can put hides in my tubs and then go fishing and when I come back in 30 min, the hides are almost done. It's annoying if you don't have friends around. But I find a good solution is to throw them in the mine and go mining, 30min passes quickly that way.
