Mulberry tree not reaching final stage

Not bad luck, it is a real glitch in my opinion.
I plant many trees and most of the trees reach final stage. Most mulberry trees do not.

You all got me wrong. I meant when there is no personal claim there is always the option of animals spawning which stunt the trees growth.

That is true, since i saw some rabbits hanging around (1 or 2x) and also 1 bear spawned there. But wouldn't that have effect on all trees and not just mulberry? Thats why I find it odd.

It just sounds like either:

A) Bad luck with decay function
B) It's a coincidence that animals stunted the mulberry tree but not the other trees

i've seen lots of villages that are abandoned with second-to-last stage mulberry trees

I will make 30x30 palisaded area with all paved ground except one spot for tree in the middle, where I will plant mulberry, then we will see
