Theft, Battery, Vandalism, and Murder are all crimes that can be used to summon you while you're offline and kill you if the ranger tracking you can see your hearthfire. The easiest way to protect yourself from this is to keep your hearthfires inside of houses behind walls. Crime is dangerous and being a careless criminal will get you killed.

Just to add to that, if u kill someones lean to, u leave a vandalism scent. Just found that out today =).

bullshit, right? you can't leave criminal scents unless it's on someone's claim or you attack somebody.

I think if somebody is standing in lean to, it is considered their property. This should probably be tested

No, I just came back from a clay run was putting stuff away in cabinets and next thing I know I was dead. I think the only time you can be summons is if you have stole off of a claimed area. ( oops I'm jason1982 didn't relize I was logged into wifey acc.)
