Oak is best. Most branches, second most bark, tied for first in seeds. -and- it makes 3 logs.

actually, certain pine trees are supposed to grow some fancy pine mushrooms in real life.
i have heard many grow naturally in northern europe like finland and sweden. (and we import lots of them.)
could make it a new curio since i hear nobody in europe eat them, but super-expensive in japan, they are pretty hard to find
(that is, to follow the topic on making pine trees a bit more useful in game.)

I don't know the names of the trees but there's one tree that's trunk kinda looks like a bear. Fuck that tree!
