can log in but not play

I have full administrator privileges, I am the sole user of this computer; in fact, I disabled UAC and DEP because I quickly tired of my computer questioning my every move (DEP was so paranoid it prevented some valid software from running). If it weren't so aggravating this would often be amusing; I recently encountered a situation where I, as administrator, had to give myself, as administrator, permission to access part of the registry ...even though I'd been tweaking the registry from the day I got this system.
