dont anwser its all the noobs trying to play that are making the game so laggy

You realize that without noobs playing, this game will eventually die a slow death. noobs keep it alive.

Also, you run it by clicking the bat, it opens/closes a command prompt and then about 5secs later opens the client window.

make sure the path is right in the run.bat

or move the client folder to your C:drive in a folder called games and try to get your path to look like this
.\updater\HnH_updater.exe
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res
