I was having problems with it at some point on WinXP. Found out it was a bad Java update at one point that didn't properly clean up some old files or something and everything's worked fine after reinstalling. It's not a guaranteed solution.
I've got an older ATI card, so it's like v9.x or something on the drivers, so no suggestions for you there. Odds are if it's a video card/driver conflict it's going to crash to desktop or blue screen and you'll get some sort of error report, at least from what I've seen of issues around here.

No. Cursor doubled its size, everything froze and sound looped. No blue screen.
