Characters suddenly deleted/wipe?

Bullshit. he left scents, got summoned and much like every other noob who posts this same thread, is now too embarrassed to admit he didn't know he could be summoned and killed.

Wut... none of my chars had even the rage/tresspasing/theft skills, also, no runestones anywhere, and, both chars deleted at the same time, despite the fact the second one was an alt, who didn't do shit...

EDIT: I DO know you can be summoned and killed, I've played the game a year ago and read the wikia from head to toes, got to do some shit, then came back 6 months again

Forgot to mention that I came back, AND STARTED AGAIN, this new char of mine is the one that got deleted, I just assumed the first one I made got deleted by a wipe, AKA World 6, but this one was deleted I don't know... in the last 12 hours, somehow

listen, the last 12 hours have not been a good time for the hnh servers. There is a problem with the info packets which are in the server. If you have not been murdered by some random guy then your characters info was dropped from the server due to net shenanigans. Consider them officially lost until loftar or jorb work on the problem.

Thanks for all the answers on the possible reasons my chars got deleted, I guess I'll just honour them with runestones... well, time to start again

they're tiny bits of info saved to the computer as to let you re access them as you want when the command tree asks for them. is that what i'm thinking of? the problems i'm having is not recieving the info that i don't have saved onto my comp such as glassmaking stuff- this i haven't had before and because it's asking for those info packets straight from the server itself i'm not recieving them due to something going on in between the server and my computer. am i close in my assumptions?

or wait, maybe the commands aren't asking for the right files when i send them... maybe it could be intrusive information is confusing my request for the objects in the servers object folders... there could be soo many problems that relate to this particular error.
