if you find a bear in real life? it will most likely do the same thing. Did you think it was going to greet you cheerfully for a spot of tea?

actually bears are mostly timid creatures and often cower away from people.

This is not true, especially if they have cubs around.

Well seeing as i have lived in the bush most of my life and see bears multiple times a week im sure i would know but in the case they do have cubs you are right they can be very aggressive to defend their young, how ever most male bears are pretty lazy and rarely attack people.
