Disregard everything suggested to you.
Check your date and time setting they should be completely off (ie: 1 January 2000); if this is your situation it can also means that your motherboard clock battery is completely drained out. You can check this if the next time you reboot your OS date and time are wrong again.

Yeah this is most likely a bad clock setting.

I'm also having this same problem. I've never played before and am getting the same error. I've tried everything in this thread and nothing has helped. Anyone have any other ideas?

And how do I turn it off? A bit more help/guidance would be great mate.

Yo I had this problem when I started playing this game a few days ago, too.

It determined it was a java issue because I got the same thing whether using my default (Firefox) or using IE.

I had installed a java dev kit previously, and had recently installed the latest version of java. Apparently my OS (Vista) was confused about the versions of java.

What fixed it for me was uninstalling all version of java and reinstalling it new. There is a utility called JavaRA that helps remove previous versions. That didnt get it all removed for me. but it may help you. The final step that worked for me was manually deleting the Java folder in (me)/AppData/LocalLow/Sun and then installing the latest version.

Hope that helps.
