Well my guess would go that one of the item's values got messed up during a recent update, causing them to automatically be thrown down into negatives (thanks to how bytes handle overflow) whenever it gets used in something.
Durgal, did you happen to eat anything involving honey before this incident? Like a ring of brodgar or honey bun?
