What kind of announcement will we get once the bug is fixed?
Also, I would not mind if the announcements in general were abit less stealthy - it is great fun to try to figure out how a new system works, but it is not so fun to stumble blindly around trying to figure out whether or not there is a new system around, or if it is just bugs.

Bump since loftar is online and perhaps he could at least shed some light on how farming is supposed to work this world. Just some basic formulas would be nice.

I think the new system is like any where between +2 to -6 of the original crop quality and at is equally likely to get any point in that range so it's like a 1 in 4 chance of crop increase. Where it used to be old crop quality +/- 6 with it equally likely to get any point in that range you would have a 1 in 2 chance of raising your quality.

That's just my guess from looking at what you guys have posted for data and what i have been getting as well. BUT if this is the case that really stinks cause we are already limited by the stupid soil we don't need to be limited more. Best way to get around this is to lvl farming die and use prayer of life... on a lot of seeds... which is sad because the soil softcap on farming was supposed to discourage people from doing this I thought. Now they added another thing that overall encourages people to do this... AND made farming smell really bad...
