But he just said something like "we don't allow exploits, but macros are fine", and "i can't wait until botting is fixed".


Shouldn't it be the exact opposite?

This right here pretty much shows the nature of the game in its current form. No one wants to macro, they do it to survive and to stay at the same levels as others. Basically at this point you have to macro to be competitive and if you haven't been macroing since the start of the world, you ARE behind.

What are you talking about? I haven't botted and am doing pretty well here. Admittedly I was one of the first to catch wind of the hunting and the mining before they were nerfed. With that, you should be able to hit 8 M by this time even casual. The main thing is to just stay focused.
