Attacked by unknown inside house 2nd floor ???

Can't you hearth before you bring up aggro, ie while you're aiming for the first shot? I don't do ranged combat so I'm a bit fuzzy on that, but I thought you could activate hotkeyed actions at least without losing aim.

Edit : The moment I press my "Warp to HF" Hotkey, I lost my aiming bar. Wanted to try the Shoot as you press Warp hotkey, but I 1shoted the X Boar...... need to dig out that crappy sling.

you can't hearth while aiming but, you can move around ofc.
OP should check behind trees and rocks around his village also.

Houses are also their own, separate "worlds", so it doesn't seem reasonable that a PKer was abusing a house bug. Strange, though...

Ok I've done some testing with a friend.

I aim at him with my sling. He warp to village. Aiming Bar was still there but it dropped form 100% to 0% and never went up. (Cause the distance is very far)

Second test, I aim at him and he entered a mansion (as it was the building in question), aimign bar disappeared.

So idk what happened besides a bug..... or lost packet....

This has happened to me before as well. which direction did the shot come from? the left side of the screen I bet. It also did 0 damage to me as well and I was on the second floor of a mansion. I can guarantee that there was no one around to aim at me with a sling or bow because the village was very active at the time and we had a pair of guys "patrolling" the outer wall and I had been very active at the moment so no real aiming could have taken place. I remember being very very startled by it. and searched the whole room for an assailant.

Just throwing this out there.... couple days ago i went to right click on a object in our village cellar. it said this is owned by A.D. I tried to reproduce the message, but couldn't. I suspect i accidently clicked on the black area, and that area exists in A.D somewhere. maybe someone figured out a way to expoit this bug and can see you from inside your home, from their home.

this same exact thing, for a brief moment my cheese cellar was owned by New Cockhaven, either i exited the house or relogged and it went away.
