Inverse parabolic function for low seed q anyone?

Like softcap except in reverse, keeping the likelihood of seeds getting closer to average than further away.
Luck may have alot to do with it atm, but fk, honestly, what's the point of 30 farm if you're only going to be lowering quality because of a roll of the dice??

Funny I see no replies to this from any sort of official stance...

Is this a bug, or just a case of bad luck? Reason being I'm preparing to get into farming, pretty major, and concerned that I should just throw it away to do hunting which is the new god-tier according to devs. Even if they halved the LP of it a week or so in.

Is there anyone reading this thread who can state they HAVEN'T had this happen to them, and that farming is just fine, but these folks have had bad luck?

You won't be saying that in a week or two when you realize how many abandoned homes there are. A 30 second boat ride south of my village literally bring you to the ghetto. There's abandoned claims everywhere with the occasional newb taking things and raiders patrolling. It reminds me of Detroit.

I'm only on my 2nd generation of crops, but it's been decently negative.

I'll have more on this later however.

I was wondering this myself, crop quality seems really bad I have farming 20 atm and crops don't seem to be raising. at first I though my plow was to blame so I built a new one, quality still seems to suck.

Why the hell would the plow matter?!?

Either way, this definitely needs to be looked at. q20 seeds, q65 soil, 35 farming, I just farmed about 15 q1 seeds after the first harvest.

It's not even a variable though... Plows have nothing to do with farming, and I doubt they even have a quality.

I don't have a scythe yet.

New update: Next Generation of Carrots

1 q6
4 q4
3 q3
3 q2
16 q1

Yeah, my carrots are borked.

nvm all of my crops are sinking. I'm suspecting they are being softcaped to 0 since I am starting to get q-less fibre.
