Shit, are you actually crying about adding a feature which just adds a bit more depth to the game and would rather have it impossible?
When half the games player base is living in a mine, and a large chunk of it comes from a game about living underground I think this should be an important thing to fix.

Well, it is only personal claims that count for insides of cabins and mines, not village authority.

It sounds like it's intended that claims inside of mines should work, and that they currently don't is the bug.

I also don't see any reason why they shouldn't work, if village authority doesn't count.

I am not a dev, i merely base it on what they have said. They said they wanted to disable some structures inside mines. Never said which ones though. And i don't think they were sure of it either. You have to keep in mind that claims were not buildable in mines before and that they added it as a quickfix. But i guess i am too 1337 to know and tell you those things.
