Well, I remember when Bay 12 implemented Mantis for bug tracking. Huge issues with getting things working right the first couple of months.

maybe they'll reopen it once they have time to work on hnh again. not much point beforehand, right?

Sure there is a point to getting it up. Unless Loftar is planning to fill the tracker by himself ... In which case there is no point for the bug-tracker at all.

we started filling it before it was taken down... but even if we didnt this would not be the case - the tracker would let people know which issues were denied or approved, which were being worked on, and when they were completed

also prevent issues from being overlooked or forgotten as has happened in the past

It looks like month ago it got enabled for day or two. And it still sent a lot of registration e-mails. Then it got closed.

True ... I was only focusing at the main thing that is needed to get all those other nice side effects. Being able to add reports. The rest will hopefully follow after that.

Not sure what tracker test your revering to, but I saw about the same thing Ender describes (although it got enabled a second time later on if I recall correctly.), and only saw a handful of reports. (3 or 4 I think.)

Anyway. Some news would be nice.
