btw i have tried the link that a guy posted.. took me to a site which a popup tried to tell me there were horses on my computer (unlikely). anyway if there is a way to get this error off my system would be nice for someone to post a non dodgy virus link to actually help please.

thanks for advice there i use none such blockers simply because they seem to annoy my system so i let it be, can i access it without one to try this cache thing?

When I was on earlier i noticed this. It only crashed when i picked up items out of my herbalist table. I had 3 new seed types there and they will hopefully still be there when a fix is made.

I tried editing my registry and deleting the relevant folders. No luck.

I'm kind of happy it wasn't a registry problem, I didn't want to mess with that xD I think we've done what we can from our side.

My theory is that the server is failng to send us some data (maybe the images) of items/crafts/etc, so people that have it in cache can keep playing until they found a new item. Since we deleted cache now we need the server to give us the images of every item, and so it breaks

Go and build your own game, I'll be happy to play it when you're done.
I'm building mine, but I guess this'll be fixed before I finish it =/

Sorry if I misinterpreted you, it seemed to me you were complaining of a free game (in alpha version) of being buggy, and accusing one of the few trying to help others, of doing harm =P

apologies you seem to get it though yea. i am not complaining about the fact its buggy and free lol understandable the guys are in dev of a new game and that its been around so long i belive people are thankful, my main concern is simply that it crashes and these things that happen are frequent at present, just the other day i witness two crashes in under three hours (i know of the rabbit glitch someone may have done that but....) its still begs the question can i be bothered to continue this? no harm done its just me being annoyed i guess lol. ignore me peeps ill try again tomorrow see if its fixed.

So I booted up my old laptop.
*Installed Fresh Java 7(There was no java on it before this)
*Tried AutoHaven - Crashed with your guy's error.
*Downloaded & Updated Ender's Client
*Logged in on new character and started discovering thing and so far everything seems to be working fine.

But it does seems to not be downloading things correctly from their side, but get ender's and it should work fine.

P.S. I spawned in a swamp and almost died typing this! =p

Not only it didn't crash, last time I tried Enders Client it kept freezing and now it works xD (but I need to update it)

btw, some things were missing, including the item that crashed my game in the first place =(
