2 days ago DIS summoned 7 alts on me but somehow didn't manage to catch me
i wonder why does this alt thing only work against certain types of people and doesn't work against me
maybe it has something to do with how good you are as a player hmmmm

The only way to fix this bug is to tie it to a bot and abuse it to hell. Looks like Apoc API is right on time to help with that.

I know quite a few of us have Pm'd loftar telling him about the bug and how it is being abused. The fact is, loftar has not replied to any of the PMs and seems to have just ignored them. There are bots that have been created to sit there and make these alts for people to summon during fights.

It literally is such a simple fix. Just make it something like you can only summon scents without hf's while on your hf or something like that, or that while summoning it isn't where you click it, it is random or even just like 1 tile in front of your character.

The bug is already being abused, why not make it even more known so we can try and get something fixed so we can enjoy the game?

Sadly, when seemingly the devs do all that is in their power to ignore your messages, your posts, your videos and so on and so forth about issues like this that have such a seemingly easy-to-perform fix, this is what people have to resort to. This has happened time and time again with issues like bugrams, statue walls, mansion jumping, etc. All of them bugs with fixes that aren't in the magnitude of more than 20 minutes to fix and that could make the game way more enjoyable for a lot of people, if only the devs atleast showed us a shimmer of hope that they are even listening to us.

I know the devs are busy working on hafen or are simply doing something else, and that is perfectly fine, but I don't think it would hurt for them to show a bit more care for the current game or at the very least inform everyone that, due to the fact that they don't care about maintaining the game anymore, we should simply suck it up when bugs like this arise and deal with it.

But the game still goes on regardless, and the people that still care about it and play it to this day will get pissed off when people get away with abusing bugs and the devs simply seem to not care at all (not even enough to make a post telling them to suck it up). Which is again, why posts like this are made, and why people seem to enjoy "making such huge asses of themselves".

This won't happen. It simply won't. The devs have shown us many times in the past how little they care about maintaining the game, and while I would love for them to prove me wrong, I know it will simply not happen.
