How many crops have ripened within the hive's radius? Wax isn't harvestable until after a number of crops have ripened around it.

Same here.

Before hardened leather was introduced:
I harvested some wax, and Q got lowered. I just stopped harvesting it after some time.

After hardened leather was introduced:
I got the 2-3 remaining pieces of wax from the hive, then destroyed it and built a new one in the same place to get better Q again.
I didn't harvest the honey at first, just waited for it to produce some wax.
But i didn't get any, so i tried harvesting the honey and repeat the whole process. Never got any wax at all...

In my experience, the bee hives have stopped producing wax, period. Does not matter what you do - no wax.

That is not true. Only some beehives stopped producing wax. I have one beehive which provides me with 5-6 (yes you read correclty) waxes a day. And 4 others, which produces like 0-1 wax a day. I have one which does not produce any wax at all, nor the honey. I was trying to figure out and I am still in the process so I will not make any suggestions, before my tests prove some results. Will post it though as it is done.

BTW, anyone wants to buy Wax 39q - huge amounts? :D
