Broken Partially Tamed Cow

I was following normal taming procedures when I noticed that the Arouchs did not seem to want to break the shackles. Me and my friend waited over an hour before giving up.

In other words, the Arouchs broke. It didn't break the shackles, but it kept following me. I fixed this by going inside and making it wild again, has anybody had this annoying event happen before?

Yes. the first attempt i made.

Yes. First two taming attempts ended with the animal being broken, requiring a restart. I've managed to replicate it by re-aggroing the animal manually. I've since tamed 7 animals, all went flawlessly, apart from one time when 5 of us tried taming animals from the same herd.

Once you try it a few times, you should get the hang of it.

Ironically, I find taming goes faster when I tame two members of herd at the same time; it's because when you aggrieve one member of a herd, every other member joins in, even ones that previously were tamed, meaning you don't have to wait for it it reaggro you.
