Crafting machine detection problem

Postby Drevar » Thu Aug 19, 2010 11:39 pm

My problem is specifically with the quern, but I believe I have seen it with other crafting machines. I can stand right next to the quern but the craft formula does not recognize that I am in proximity to the machine. I receive the error message that I need to be near a quern to craft. I can approach it from different angles (bumping right up against it) and it still will not detect that I am next to the required quern. Sometimes it will work at one specific spot: the top right corner of the sprite, but not always.

right click it to interact with it. this works for all interactable thingies (it's a technical term :P) that you use for crafting.

Have you tried right clicking the "machine" and then left clicking the craft button after you have "butted" yourself up to it?

Edit: Blast, beat to the punch by a minute, yer just too fast sometimes Sabinati

Solved...thread can be deleted

*sigh* Yes that appears to be it. I was unaware that the machine had to be "primed", so to speak, by right clicking first. I had thought it was simply a proximity thing.
