Random Red Messages

I had built a quern and I wanted to place it in my house. I walked in and right-clicked where I wanted it to go and got the message "You cannot place things in water." (So apparently my house is flooded.) I walked away and tried again to get "This land is owned by B____." (I forgot the name, but it was of some random guy I have never heard of.) It finally placed on the third try, but I thought you might like to know that this is happening.
