Ancestor Item Bug?

I am a reincarnation i have the required item i am infront of the shrine :
wiki states i have to left click now and use the required item on the shrine. This yields no succes tried with 2 different items?
Am i missing something or is this a bug?

The same way you use a bucket on a barrel, left click item, rightclick shrine. You will walk to shrine and deposit into it.

i think maybe he means that he got no numen, which is quite possible if you are full change, there is only a 1/3 chance of getting numen iirc

that is the problem there thank you. this shrine was build by someone else.
