Weird item placement in house

So I recalled to my HF which is in my house while carrying my boat and logged out, logged in again and my boat is no in the black part of my house, I can click the menu but as I cant walk there I can no longer get to my boat

If you have a village, you can build a crossroad in your house near the wall where the boat is. If you teleport to that crossroad, you have a chance of landing on a tile next to the boat, and then you can pick it up.

If you're not in a village and don't want or plan to build one, then build another boat.
