So yeah you can pave X on X . If you dont understand replace X with stone , bricks or gold.
Ill take a wizard cape for some wasted bricks thank you :P

yeah, this is true.

It's kinda useful in my opinion, tho. I mean, this way I can pave bricks over stone... :P

Yeah but here you would say X is brick and Y is stone...

Oh, yeah... It's kinda stupid that you can pave the same thing 2 times on the same plot.

he's talking about paving stone on stone, not brick on stone. Paving stone on stone seems a bit useless
