well if you seriously do not know the answer then dude you have no business doing silk..Ok you had silk cocoons and now all you have is eggs..so the only reasonable answer is yes all the cocoons hatched and yes they mated and yes they laid eggs...

O you know what maybe someone came along and decided to take the cocoons as they did not want to wait the 8 hours for any and left you eggs to replace them..

Still doesnt explain how 15 silkmoths can turn into eggs without leaving a single silkmoth? Doubt the 15'th silkmoth can partner up with his/herself.

come on dude it is to early for this...I am tired and it is very hard to be nice when you are tired..

One more time here and as nice as I possiably can put it..

the moths mated and had eggs..no your moths do not live forever..all it took was for you to have a male and female in there..

the cocoons turned into moths the moths mated and then they laid eggs and died..It is the life of the silk moth..

HAPPY NOW???????

Moths mate at the end of their natural life, so it's normal that there aren't any moths left after the eggs were made, even if they didn't all have their pairs. They probably hatched right after you went to bed.

But why would the last 1 die? I've heard they can live in a cupboard for 24 irl hours?

They all either die or mate at the same time, like I said. And AFAIK it's 24 in-game hours.
