Caves in new supergrids

I've been searching relentlessly for caves in the new supergrids, but it seems i have no luck. I've checked every cliff that i encounter, and i've been searching for about 12 hrs now, but still nothing. Is this a glitch?

Seen plenty, a few with copper mines. Didn't bother to go in to find the mines though.

I've had zero luck so far, I don't know why, they're relatively common in the mainland.

How long did it take you to find any mines, i've also found none.

Took a while, and those were the only mines I've ever found. Caves are just kinda random... sometimes they're fairly common in some areas, sometimes it takes a long time to find one. Keep lookin! Keep in mind caves can appear behind rocks and trees so if you have a client that let's you see behind those that's a big help.
