only male offsprings - bug?

Postby algam » Tue Jan 04, 2011 7:42 pm

Hi,

Probably technically it can not be considered a bug, but it definitely pisses me off:
I had 6 pregnant cows.. all eat a lot of food so I have worked a lot to feed those hungry bastards.
I have checked today the result: 6 males and only one female. WTF??? :)

please gods loftar and jorb, tell me it is a bug and that you will transform in females at least three newly hatched bulls :D

It's called bad luck. Stay away from casinos.

6 Pregnant cows, and 7 offspring, hatched? Sounds like you couldn't get any luckier, you had your cows lay eggs.

Also, did one cow lay two eggs, or did two cows come out of one egg?
You may have foiled the plans of BAD-EVIL this time, but there is no rest for the wicked.

All the mammalian farm animals in game can have twins are rare occasions. The sex is just the luck of the draw - fingers crossed for girls next time.

This is strange because 9/10 of my calfs are female.

usually this happens for me too (9 females out of 10). That is why I considered this a bug.
But may be only bad luck on my side since with chickens happens lately the same thing, 1 in 8 is a hen and the rest cocks. Good food but hard to raise chickens quality this way.

I recently had an absolute pimp of a silkmoth. 1 male in the cupboard with around 9 females. (and I caught every one of these, couldn't believe how bad my luck was! However I recently got 2 pearls from like, 30 mussels, so I guess it balances).
