Huge boulder drop despite supports

I build a support beam but it was off-center so I build another one next to it (covering everything the old one covered) then I destroyed the old support beam and man then hell broke lose :?

Cave ceiling was probably not covered by overlap, as in the first pillar was supporting, and the second wasn't needed to, so a type of zero zone developed where the old post was, causing no support for a few seconds while the server recovered.

I think anyways, this is what makes sense to me. Moral; if you're gonna waste nuggets on a support, keep it anyways.

Perhaps destroying a support automatically causes a cave-in?

I am going to quit for a while until the world has some stronger factions because I just died again because of a stupid corner glitch, I ended up into the deep water (you see in the picture) and I automaticly started swimming (when the skill was turned off) I kept puching against the side of the land but it would not let me get out of the water! :x
I don't feel like grindin 500k+ in 2 days just to be able to compete and then to die on the stupiest way possible because of a glitch

We tested it, by accident that is. But yes destroying a support causes a cave in
