How i was killed?

I and my hearth fire was beyond closed palisade. How someone kill me while i was offline? ( he did this for my crimes)

Palisades don't stop ranged attacks, keep your hearthfire indoors if you intend to leave scents.

can i get my dead character's items? i can't find my corpse. Or can open my palisade?

The items are on your corpse, if it hasn't decayed to a skeleton or been looted by your killer.

If it had your only copy of your palisade key, you're going to need to ram a hole in it.

another criminal down by the justice that was coming to him....All those lp's spent on thieving could have went toward honest skills that with you could gain the things you was stealing and also which means you would still have your character and not be in this position..

Kudos to you maabi, for your good attitude in this situation. I was starting to think all players who choose to steal or murder could not handle the situation maturely when they get killed. You've restored my faith that some people are good natured and accept their bad luck. Even though you didn't know you needed to hide your hearthfire, and that your death could have been prevented with that knowledge, not once have you complained about it being "unfair" that you died.
