Game does not load

Hi,
I downloaded the game (first I tried the direct link, then I downloaded the game client). But every time I try to run the game, the preloader (logo of Haven&Hearth) comes up, and then the game window opens up but is only white and nothing else, and immediately crashes after one second.

I have no idea what's wrong with it. Anyone have a clue?

1. Your Java may be glitching. Re-Install it from the Java homepage
2. Your computer may be too shitty to run this game. If so, too bad.

I would provide more answers if my brain was a little stimulated right now.

check that java functions properly
update video drivers, they should be the most recent version from the manufacturer
change video settings, some things like color bit-depth, threading optimization, etc have an effect
