Can't log in when using Gilbertus

My friend recommended the Gilbertus client to me, so I installed it and after a few Java errors (I'm used to those) the log in screen finally came up. But when I log in, it tells me my username or password are incorrect. They're not. I even changed my password just in case. I can log in with no problems to the regular client, but Gilbertus insists my information is wrong. I read various threads, but I didn't see any mention of this exact issue. Any help is appreciated, and thank you in advance for taking the time to read this.

Thank you! That's amazingly helpful! But how do I get the newest haven.jar? I'm not really sure where anything installs to. Sorry if I'm being a bother.

Nevermind! I was slow on the uptake, but I got it sorted. Thank you very much for that flowchart.
