Palisade cannot be extended?

So I'm building my palisade... beside a cliff. The path of extension is plowed and paved but now I can't seem to extend my palisade anymore.

Need help... I definitely don't have enough str to destroy my palisade...

The red circle is where I'm trying to extend the wall but can't. No signpost pops up. Note that the wall is already partially into the cliffside and I can move to where I want to build...

yea generally its better to make sure the wall is one tile from the cliff or else the construction is obstructed.

If you cant walkthrough the gap though just make a new coner post where ever that sade was gonna go

I might have to end up doing that... Once I get the necessary materials again.

No chance someone with a sledgehammer can break that down for me eh.
