Blank screen on full screen

Game looks fine (but small) in default video settings. When i go to fullscreen, i get a blank black screen. Can't do anything, have to end process in task manager.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Fullscreen mode has serious issues using the default client. If you would like to play on a larger screen I would recommend downloading either the Gilbertus or Ender Clients which you can find by searching for the forum threads. Then just drag the screen larger in those.

Heh, you weren't kidding when you said good luck.
I found the gilbertus client, and started the 'run.bat' and i get a dos screen pop up for 2 nanoseconds, which shows, what i assume to be an error message.

I don't have the patience to scour the forums for line edits and searching for this and that on my computer, i'm a complete noob when it comes to this stuff. Can't play this game in such a small window, so i tried resizing my screen resolution to something like 780x480 ish, and it was like fullscreen! but.. well i couldn't see part of the game, and it gave me a migraine, lol.

So, i guess i'll put this game on hold until they make the client re sizable, or make it so full screen works.
I did enjoy the time i played though, a game like this has needed to be made for a long long time.(minus the computer whiz knowledge required to get the game to run)

Had the same problem with Gilbertus, and really both custom clients on this computer, however (aside from chat) Ender's has more useful features, so perhaps that would work.

I did have to activate it using "haven.jar" the first time, followed by "run.bat" afterwards.
