Claim robbing

Postby PkCarter » Sat Feb 05, 2011 6:47 pm

after being forced to abandon our base me and my fellow hearthlings had loaded everything into multiple boats and were looking for a new place to set up

we drove by a boar we wanted to kill and as soon as we got out of our boats we were unable to move or get back in our boat because of someones claim extending into the river

without tresspassing of theft we had to simply hearth back to our old base and leave all our valuable s in the boats that the claim now owned.

this also happend later in our journey and we had to rebuild 5 boats yet again this time after portaging boats across land we set them down in the water to get in but apparently the land they had been just put down on was owned and therefore the boats didnt belong to us anymore. i think we could walk on it because it was a village claim but we could not retrieve our boats

This was very annoying as it put a major set back in our move and we lost many valuable items/ supplies. Is it possible to make it if your carrying some thing that you are unable to drop it in an unfriendly claim. also if you land a boat on claimed shore u should be able to reenter the boat. just a few ideas because im getting annoyed of losing my stuff by walking into claims

If you turn on criminal acts, you don't need the trespassing skill to move about someone else's claim. You can also Avast! right from the claim in to a boat, although it does leave a theft scent.

Again though, don't need theft or trespassing to do that.

Boats retain their ownership on personal claims so if you accidentally embark onto someone's land you can still avast back out without leaving any scents as long as criminal acts are turned on.

On. If criminal acts aren't turned on then you can't even move on claimed land.

I've gotten off my boat in claimed land before and got right back on. Do I leave any scents (I never turn Criminal Acts on)?
