Dead charecters stuck in bed.

I don't know if this is a glitch or if I'm just stupid, but I have encountered something that's really throwing a wrench into my gameplay. Two friends and I have been playing Haven & Hearth for about 3 days now, and we already have 2 log cabins to sleep in and are working on a timber house for storage. The plan was that my IRL girlfriend and I were to share a house, while my other IRL friend gets the other cabin too himself. Well, they were both viciously murdered by effin' boars in the forest while looking for rabbits (i.e., lunch). They were forced to make new characters, and when they returned too their cabins their old, dead characters were laying in there beds, sleeping. They can't move the beds from the cabins seeing as how there being occupied, and the lack of space in these tiny houses really puts us into a difficult situation regarding room. They both tryed logging out and seeing if they could access their old accounts, but they couldent. Idk if we're just being uber-dumb and overlooking something obvious, or if this is an actuall glitch. Either way, I would appreciate any help/being pointed in helps direction.

Try destroying the bed. That is the only way I know how to get rid of people on beds that never wake up.
