Mysterious death

Hi,

I`m fairly new to the game, but something strange happened just now.

I was playing, just exploring a bit, just raided an anthill, got away with 38 damage (the temporary damage, not the need healing type damage)
I noticed i got an Ant queen as loot, so i let my character munch it down.
at the same time, a wild boar appeared from behind a tree, and hit me (just once)
Got insta K-Oed, waited untill the stars dissapeared, tried to eat something, accidentally walked 1 square.....

DEATH....

I had a full stomach (96% after eating ant queen), it was my first time that i got K-Oed, had lots of hp left..

what happened, and can it be reversed? (looking @ you ... almighty admins

fyi: using the normal/original client, and no, no key-loggers, no virusses, rootkits, malware and other stuf (sys admin IRL... I know my way around computer security..)

are you sure the boar didn't kill you?

That one step you took probably caused the boar to reaggro you, and with your already depleted health, you were killed in one hit (and then immediately sent to the login screen).

It's been suggested many times that some sort of grace period or explanation of events be displayed upon death, as opposed to the quite jarring and unintuitive way that character death is handled currently. Would probably help curb the amount of these threads we get as well.

That one step you took probably caused the boar to reaggro you, and with your already depleted health, you were killed in one hit (and then immediately sent to the login screen).

Last time I died I got a few seconds to stare at my corpse and watch NaoWhut call me a "bosha".

Ant Queen is a helluva drug.

Most likely after being knocked by a boar your boots were destroyed. After you started walking you probably got a thorn in your foot, which then damaged you for 1 and killed again. happened few times to me.

But, I can't explain what happened to me now. I played some time in world 3 and 2 weeks or so in world 4. Usually afer being knocked by boar I only lost couple of HHP. But now... First boar knocked, and after that it continued to attack. One more hit and character permanently dead. I had 104 HHP before it attacked me, and basically my character was perma killed in 2 shots. Have any rules changed about that? Is it some bug? If yes - is there a way to restore my character? Its name is Procne.

If not, then I don't really see much sense in continuing to play... I lost most stats (bunch of them at 18) and skills were reduced from 20-30 to 5-7. Along with 20k LP I had saved. I know it may not be much comparing to what other people lose. But for me it's another week or so before I can find rustroots again...

Edit: Now I see that all unranked skills are gone too... I don't have nerves nor time for this. Cya guys, less lag for you I guess

First off, stop being a pussy and go make some more buckets. Secondly, all creatures will now attempt to kill you after being knocked out, even ants, so if you see something you can't take and it's attacking you RUN LIKE FOREST GUMP MOTHERFUCKER!!!

So the rules have changed. I don't need another job after I'm back home from the job so I'll just skip the game.
