Having trouble logging in to forums

I'll start out by saying this is an alt account.

My main account is having trouble logging into the forums I receive a weird error (weird to me):

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Duplicate entry '<username>' for key 2 [1062]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

Just wanted to know how to rectify this problem. I haven't emailed the address yet sorry if that was the simple and quick thing to do.
