black screen at start-up WITHOUT nvidia card

My friend, who I have been trying to introduce into H&H, cannot start the game up due to this error.

After trying the solution with Threaded optimization he couldn't even get to the Nvidia control panel which means he doesn't have said card.

Had this problem too, try using enderz client for some reason gilbs messes up but enderz works
