Can't gain any LP.

I died on my character, inherited my old LP yet.. i've been palying for days and im unable to gain any LP on my character nor is my slider working yet playing for so long.

Help?!

Are you sure you were playing longer than it takes for the slider change to happen?

I'm having trouble earning lp as well. So far, only by discovering things and studying the same curiosity (cone + branch(4)) have I earned any. Sometimes, even when i craft new things I haven't seen before, it doesn't even give me discovery points. I am fairly new to the game, but Is there a better way to earn lp? My friend told me every action I make should be giving me some lp as well, but it isn't.

New world, new lp system. Get better curiosities -- cone cows are lowest tier.

Wasn't there a bug associated with inheriting in W4, where if you inherited more than a few times then you couldn't change your slider or changing it didn't do anything? Perhaps he has something similar?
