Claim dissapeared, cannot place new claim

I placed a claim the first day and lost 30k LP to a crash. That's fine. I understand the server eats stuff and you're not responsible, etc. I cannot place a new claim now. I get the message "You cannot have more than one plot" even though the first one disappeared.

What's odd to me is that my claim was right next to the "Goon Educational Authority" claim, which was eaten by the server as well, and yet they were able to immediately place a new one. I guess I just got lucky.

I have a similar problem with my non-existing claim, well minus the goons and the 30k lp.
I was wondering if some benevolent force could destroy my claim so i can move on?
