Object moved itself beyond cabin wall.

Object moved itself beyond cabin wall.

The curding tub in this screenshot was originally placed on the floor next to the loom. It was there for a week or two. I did not move it, lift it, or otherwise interact with it at all for a few days (I'm out of milk). However, today I logged in to find that it moved itself beyond the cabin wall.

This is certainly the result of a bug, as the curding tub could not have been touched between when I logged out last night and when I logged in this morning. I'm inside a solid palisade; there are no scents anywhere on my property, so nobody else moved it or anything.

Perhaps noteworthy and related is that I've also had a meat grinder go missing from the same timber house (the one in the screenshot is one I built to replace it). It just *poof* disappeared one day. I thought a friend of mine (who has since died) took it, but he claimed he didn't touch it. Now I think he may have been telling the truth.

Are you sure no one else moved it? That only tends to happen when someone lifts an object inside a house and logs out (or crashes) causing the object to fall in to the black.

Or you do not have the skill set/level to see those scents ... just a thought.

I'm thinking the same thing happened to the curding tub that happened to his other grinder. I'm guessing it's not a bug, but someone that has permissions on his claim. It could be a thief, too, but a curding tub is something a thief isn't going to touch other than to destroy it or the curds in it.

Unless someone built a ram, turned it invisible for 24 hours, smashed through my wall, repaired the damage, and did nothing on my claim other than log off while holding a mostly empty curding tub over their head, this is the result of a bug.

None of the other folks who have access to my claim were online between when I logged out and when I logged in.

Just so you know...it's possible to get stuff from the black by sprinting =)

I got my boat back a month ago or so that got stuck there after a server crash.

Boat must have been close to the cabin edge. ... Love that feature ... ergo: leave as is. :)
