Silk moth disappearance

Postby Onionfighter » Thu Sep 10, 2009 11:25 pm

My first batch of silk worms has vanished. Somewhere between eating two leaves and becoming a cocoon. The reasons I think this may be a bug:

nobody had access to them but me.
They did not starve because there were leaves left in their chest. (after they vanished)
I am pretty sure they did not turn to moths and die because there were ten in one container, so there would be a high probability that they would have left eggs. Also, I don't think enough time had passed for this.

I will watch to see what happens to the next batch.

You probably got boned in the rollback, along with a bunch of other people.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

Nope, same just happend to me. There was no server crash and it happened exactly the same. After level 3 of the silkworm they simply disappeared, it's impossible anybody could have taken them and there were enough mulberry leaves in the basket, heck, the ones too much are still in there. But no worms and no respective amount of leaves.

This is definitely a bug the devs should have a closer look into!

Yes, it has happened again with my latest batch. Has anyone gotten any cocoons in the new world?

Indeed, there was a bug involved. I've fixed it, and the fix will be in effect when I next restart the server.

I thought we already covered this, whenever silk is in the topic, there are many bugs involved.
